At the time we try to make a project in Papua, formerly Irian Jaya, for which we need help from companys and organisations to realice it.

 

Target:

Save the area where the Korowai live (Natural reserve).

Reasons:

The peoples live from and with the nature. Especially the peoples who live close to the nature have evolved traditional techniques and behaviours. They can live together and with the ecological system without changing or destroy them. This kind of living will keep them living in harmony with the nature.

They can be exemplary for us in the kind of working with the nature. New disaster will be a problem for the peoples at all continents, especially in the following matters:

1.) An lasting damage or destroying of the forests and the ecological system where the peoples live. The quality of live will be minimized. Hereby the source of living will be destroyd and the forests too.

2.) The human rights of the peoples living close to the nature will be ignored. They have to abandon their cultural context. Final they will loose the own identity.

3.) The right of their land will be ignored. The peoples who live close to nature will loose the source of their living for industrial obstinancy.

In New Guinea are the last cultures in the world who live close to the stoneage. These cultures live till today in the high mountain areas or in their swampy forests. Especially these peoples we have to save. To save is difficulty, because we cannot save them like animals in a zoo. But we have a great chance to save them their country that no logging companies and no settler come inside and steal them their ground. We don´t know, till today, what kind of different vegetation will be inside and what kind of medicine we will get from it.
We don´t have to kill all this ressources for a small, but quick money!!

But this project cost much much more money than i ever can afford. For this reason we will need all help we can get.
